David Fuertes

David Fuertes describes the rich history of the Kohala’s ability to come together in times of adversity, starting with the hiding of the young Kamehameha who would one day unite Hawaii. David describes the origins of the Kohala Future Farmers of America’s Open Market event, which sought to create opportunities for the community to come together after the plantation closed. David talks about the purpose of Kahua Pa’a Mua, the nonprofit that he runs that started the Kohala Backyard Revolution. Finally, he describes his hopes for the future, and the importance of understanding our Origin, Belief + Values, Purpose, and Destiny.
