Marion Kim

Marion Kim recalls her childhood in Hoea Camp in Kohala. The camp was diverse and close-knit. She fondly remembers learning to swim at Hoea Flats and the excitement of watching planes arrive at nearby ‘Upolu airport. Marion’s upbringing instilled a strong sense of responsibility and nurtured values of hard work, as she describes morning chores and walking miles to see a movie. Marion values the skills and lessons she learned, which she has passed down to her own children.
